Newton Man Facing Alexander County Charges

A Newton man has been jailed in Alexander County.

36-year-old James Michael Chambers was arrested in Catawba County on Tuesday on warrants from Alexander County. The charges include breaking and entering, second-degree trespassing and violating a domestic violence protection order. As of earlier today, Chambers remains in the Alexander County Jail with no bond listed.
