Newton Man Busted For Trafficking Fentanyl

The Newton Police Department arrested Dorian Debrell Shuford, 33, of Kilborne DR, Newton, on Monday April 27th. He has been charged with

Felony trafficking fentanyl (2 counts)
Possession of firearm by a convicted felon
Possession of schedule IV controlled substance (2 counts)

Shuford is being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center.
