Newton Man Arrested In Alexander County On Pennsylvania Fugitive Warrant

A Newton man was arrested on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

48-year old Michael Don Smith was served a fugitive warrant from Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He is wanted there for multiple counts of failure to appear on charges of larceny. Smith is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
