Nigel Brooks Gibbs, 34, of South Derby Ave, Newton, was taken into custody around 10 pm on Thursday, April 17th. He’s charged by Taylorsville Police with reckless driving with wanton disregard and multiple other traffic related offenses including speeding and having an open container of alcohol. As of this report, Gibbs remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond listed at $6,000.
