25-year-old Luca Tyler Buntic of North Ashe Avenue in Newton was arrested Friday (July 25) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, failure to heed light or siren, reckless driving with wanton disregard, and resisting a public officer. Buntic was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $40,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today in Newton.
