A Newton couple are facing felony drug charges. Newton Police arrested 30-year old Brandon Michael Beatty and 31-year old Marsha Kay Glazebrook overnight. Both face multiple counts that include felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine.

Glazebrook is also charged with felony trafficking opium or heroin. Both are being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with secured bonds of $21,000 each. The suspects are scheduled for court appearances today.
