N.C. Highway 16 near Old Campground RD. in Northern Wilkes County has reopened after a crash overnight.
A tractor-rig went off the roadway and down an embankment. The driver was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
The roadway was closed for over four-hours according to the NC Highway Patrol.
