A man died in a Friday crash in Eastern Alexander County.
The victim was operating a motorcycle around 5pm near the intersection of Cheatham Ford Road and Highway 90 when he was struck by a vehicle. The operator of the bike was killed in the accident.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol in investigating.
More details are expected today.
Another motorcycle operator was critically injured Sunday evening in Iredell County.
The crash was reported around 10pm on Old Mountain Road near the Alexander County line.
