Morganton Woman Arrested For Abuse Of Infant

A Burke County Woman has been charged with the abuse of an infant child that she was babysitting.

24-year-old Destinee Ryan Agee of Morganton was taken into custody on Friday by the Burke County Sheriff’s Office. A report had been filed involving the possible abuse of a child. Agee is charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury.

Agee was placed in jail with a secured bond of $75,000. She was scheduled to make an initial court appearance on Friday.
