Morganton Man Jailed In Alexander County After Threatening To Kill Residents At Assisted Living Facility

A Morganton man has been arrested in Alexander County.

Jason Jerome Brown, age 62, of Kathy RD., Morganton, was taken into custody on Saturday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. The charges include assault on a female, assault, and communicating threats. Arrest documentation reveals the suspect allegedly threatened to kill all the residents at an assisted living facility. Brown is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center pending a Monday court appearance.
