Monroe Man Held In Alexander County Jail

33-year old James Rabon Boatwright of Monroe was arrested Wednesday, April 20th for violating terms of his probation. As of earlier today, he remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000. A court appearance is scheduled for May 1st.

Boatwright also has charges pending from an arrest by Taylorsville Police in August of 2022. He was charged then with breaking and entering a coin/currency machine and second-degree trespass. A court date is scheduled on those charges today in Taylorsville.
