Missing Court Date Lands Hiddenite Woman In Jail

Kimberly Ann Pyne, age 29 of Hiddenite, was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, December 3rd. She was served Catawba County warrants for failure to appear. The original charges were for larceny and shoplifting/concealment of goods. Pyne remains in the Alexander County Detention Center as of earlier today with a bond set at $1,000. January 8th is her court date in Taylorsville.

Pyne has charges pending in Swain County for felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and felony possession of methamphetamine.
