Marion Man Jailed After Multiple Hit-And-Runs In Catawba County

A Marion man was arrested early Sunday morning following a series of hit-and-run incidents in Catawba County.

30-year-old Ricardo Padilla Perez was taken into custody by the State Highway Patrol and the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

Troopers say Perez was driving south in northbound lanes on NC 321. Multiple collisions were confirmed with at least two people being transported to an area hospital.
