Hunter Alexander Bray, age 25 of Marion N.C., has been arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with 5-felony counts of obtaining property by false pretense. Bray is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center. The suspect also has pending charges of felony obtaining property false pretense awaiting trial in Catawba County. In addition, Bray is serving a 24- month suspended sentence for driving while impaired in McDowell County.
