One person is dead and the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect. 22-year-old Antonio Castillo has been identified as a suspect, a warrant for murder has been issued. He is described as being 5′8″ and weighing 140 lbs and was last seen in Taylorsville.
The shooting was reported around noon today at a location in the Stony Point area of Alexander County. The victim has not been identified.
Castillo is considered armed and dangerous. Castillo is thought to driving a dark green or blue Nissan Altima sedan.
