37-year old Jerry Dean Absher of Connely Springs was served an arrest warrant by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies on Saturday July 10th. The warrant from Catawba County was for failure to appear on a charge of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and later transferred to authorities in Catawba County where he was scheduled for a court appearance on Monday, July 12th.
