Man Sentenced To Serve Four-Months in Alexander County Jail

Jamie Lee Fox, age 41 and listed as homeless, has been sentenced to serve a jail sentence of 4 months. He was convicted on Wednesday on charges of assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest. He will serve the time in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Fox has pending charges awaiting trial in Catawba County for assault with a deadly weapon, going armed to the terror of the public, disorderly conduct and resisting a law enforcement officer. His next court date on those charges is scheduled for July 2nd in Newton.
