In September of 2018, officers made controlled buys using a confidential informant at two locations where the defendant was present. On September 18, 2018, Narcotics Agents, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, and Lenoir Police Detectives executed a search warrant at a Lenoir residence where Whiteside said he lived. Various mixtures of cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine were found at the residence.
26-year-old Jakime Raheim Whiteside of Hudson will serve a prison sentence of six-to-eight years following his conviction for felony trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Whiteside pleaded guilty during a session of Caldwell County Superior Court on Friday, January 17th in Lenoir.
