David Walter Cabbines Beasley
David Walter Cabbines Beasley, age 40, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to five counts of indecent liberties with a child, three counts of statutory rape of a child, three counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult, two counts of statutory rape of a child and one count each of incest, second-degree forcible rape and second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to indictments, the offenses occurred between October 2016 and early March 2025, and involved two female victims. Court records indicate most of the offenses occurred in both Alleghany and Wilkes County.
Beasley was indicted in Alleghany Superior Court in 2025, but a change of venue was secured for hearing the cases in Wilkes Superior Court. He was indicted in Wilkes Superior Court on July 21, 2025.
Presiding Judge R. Stuart Albright of Greensboro, sentenced Beasley as part of a plea agreement.
The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office charged Beasley with incest, second-degree forcible rape, incest with a child under 13 and four counts of first-degree statutory sexual offense. He was also charged in Wilkes with soliciting a child by computer.
