Man From Stony Point Facing Felony Weapons Charge

A man was taken into custody Monday morning after Alexander County 911 received a call about a man pointing a weapon.

County Deputies responded and arrested 28-year old Nicholas William Green of Stony Point with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of unspecified controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Green was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $21,000. The suspect has multiple counts pending for failure to notify law enforcement of address change as a registered sex-offender.
