Man Facing Statutory Rape Charge In Iredell County

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man on charges involving the sexual assault of a juvenile.

20-year old Nicholas Hunter Dennison of Harmony was taken into custody on December 31st after a report was filed in August of 2020. Detective C. E. James of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit interviewed the victim and gathered evidence.

Felony warrants were issued against Dennison for felony first degree statutory rape of a child 15 years old or younger. Dennison was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center with a secured bond of $15,000.
