24- year -old Adrian Alexander Bryson of Hickory was arrested by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office on Friday and charged with seven offenses. Bryson was charged with forgery, uttering a forged instrument, two counts of obtaining property by false pretense, failure to appear for obtaining property by false pretense, failure to appear for forgery of instrument, and failure to appear for simple assault. Bryson was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $36,750. He has miltiple court appearances scheduled including Monday, March 4th in Newton.
