A man listed as homeless is being held in custody on charges from Alexander and Catawba Counties. 32-year-old Christian Michael Morgan has Alexander County charges pending from 2025 for felony larceny and felony larceny of a motor vehicle. The charges in Catawba County date to 2022, 2023, and 2025 and include felony larceny, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon, larceny of a firearm, multiple counts of felony probation violation, obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen goods. Morgan remains in the Catawba County Detention Center after his arrest by Catawba County Deputies on Thursday.
