33-year-old Austin Sinclair Anthony of Vale was arrested Thursday by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with first-degree forcible rape and communicating threats. Anthony is also charged with Probation and Parole with felony probation violation. Anthony was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $39,500 bond. District Court dates were scheduled today July 22 and August 10. A Superior Court appearance is set for next Monday (July 25).
