Winston Irving Walker, age 40, 3rd Ave SW, Catawba, was charged on Tuesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with felony larceny. The case involves the alleged theft of a lawn tractor. Walker is also charged in Catawba County with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Previous pending charges in Catawba County in include felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. Walker remains in the Catawba County Detention Center.
