The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for cocaine trafficking. 38-year old Thomas Lamont Lineberger of Catawba was taken into custody Monday and charged with felony trafficking in cocaine and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. A secured bond of $500,000 was set, Lineberger remains in the Catawba County Detention Center. He is scheduled to make a court appearance today in Newton.
