Jesus Salazar, age 59 of Hickory, was arrested Saturday by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, resisting a public officer, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree trespass. Salazar is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.
