Man Charged For Breaking Into Iredell County Church

A Winston Salem man has been arrested for breaking and entering into an Iredell County Church.

65-year old Jerry Lee Crews was arrested on Monday by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. On Monday, deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering in progress at the Providence Methodist Church on Old Mocksville Road. A suspect was located (Crews) and taken into custody.

Crews is charged with felony breaking and entering a place of worship and felony larceny. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center with secured bond of $5,000.
