Man Arrested Saturday Morning After Exposing Himself In Taylorsville

Saturday morning at approximately 1:00 am, an Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputy located a male subject lying in the roadway in front of the CVCC campus in Taylorsville. The Deputy advised that the individual was acting erratically and was in possession of a knife.

Taylorsville Police Officers responded to assist and identified the man as 30-year-old Emmanuel James Saddler. While officers attempted to conduct a lawful search, the subject pulled his pants down and exposed himself on school property.

Saddler was taken into custody and charged with indecent exposure and possessing a weapon on educational property.

During the booking process at the Alexander County Detention Center, the subject threw a cup of water at an officer and another detainee. Additional charges were filed for simple assault, assault on a government official, and resisting a public officer.

Saddler is being held under a $15,000 secured bond.
