36 year old Wendell Sherwood Osborne of Granite Falls was jailed this morning on felony weapons charges. Osborne was taken into custody by Longview Police and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of an altered weapon, possession of stolen goods, and driving with license revoked. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $25,000. He will make a court appearance on Friday in Newton.
