Man Arrested Monday By Alexander County Deputies

Jimmie Ray Stewart, age 60 of Hickory, was arrested Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He is facing multiple counts of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. Stewart is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,000. The investigation is continuing and the arrest of additional suspects is possible.

The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.

Stewart is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, October 12th.
