Man Arrested In Catawba County For Sex-Offense With Child

27-year-old Devin Mckinley Viar of Robbinsville in Graham County was arrested Tuesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged with three counts of statutory sex offense with a child by an adult. Two of the counts were filed by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and one is from a warrant issued by the Graham County Sheriff’s Office.

Viar was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,500,000 bond. No court date was listed for Catawba County, a Superior Court appearance is scheduled for May 4 in Graham County.
