Maiden Police Nab Suspect

Maiden Police Officers arrested 21-year old Tristan Raysean Payne of Hickory on Monday. The following charges were filed:

Felony possession of counterfeit instrument
First-degree trespass
Second-degree trespass
Possession of stolen goods
Injury to real property
Two counts of resisting a public officer

Payne is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $11,000. He is scheduled to make an initial court appearance today in Newton.
