Lenoir Woman Arrested On Felony Fentanyl Charge In Alexander County

Another arrest for fentanyl possession in Alexander County.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol arrested 28-year old Ryan Marie Smith of Lenoir on Wednesday, October 19th. She was charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a series of traffic related counts including driving with no operator’s license.

She remains in the Alexander County Jail with a secured bond set a $15,000. She is scheduled to make a Monday, October 24th court appearance.

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Highway Patrol in the arrest.
