Lenoir Police And Caldwell County Deputies Make Fentanyl Bust

The Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office and Lenoir Police say two individuals were arrested after a routine traffic stop on Morganton Boulevard in Lenoir.

During the stop, Lenoir Police Department K9 Mia alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle and the individuals resulted in the discovery of approximately 14.6 grams of suspected fentanyl, which was found on the person of Amie Nicole Sanders, age 38, of Lenoir. Deputies also located a loaded Glock handgun and over $3,000 in cash. Xavier Dontay Dula, age 34, of Lenoir, and Sanders were taken into custody.

Amie Nicole Sanders was charged with Trafficking by Possession and Trafficking by Transportation. She was placed into the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured.
Xavier Dontay Dula was charged with Trafficking by Possession, Trafficking by Transportation and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond.
