Lenoir Murder Victim Along With Suspect Identified

34-year-old Preston Kelly Page of Granite Falls was arrested Wednesday (January 21) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with second-degree murder. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Conner James Drum of Lenoir.

Page is charged in connection to an investigation that was launched after officers with the Lenoir Police Department responded around 9:30 a.m. to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 1100 block of SW Tara Place. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Caldwell County EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. Page (pictured) was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center without bond.
