Rodney Shane Townsend, 30, of Lenoir, has been taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and served a warrant for felony larceny. The alleged incident dates to April, 2025. Townsend was released from prison on Tuesday after serving a 6-month sentence following a conviction in Caldwell County for felony larceny of a motor vehicle. Bond is listed at $20,000.
