Carl Alexander Cook
Carl Alexander Cook, age 38, was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on Monday after being transferred from Caldwell County custody.
Cook is charged in Alexander County with felony assault with a deadly weapon on a government official. The charge stems from an April 11th, 2025 chase initiated by law enforcement in Caldwell County. The pursuit ended in Alexander County when Cook allegedly rammed an Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Vehicle. Cook was taken into custody by Caldwell Officers where he’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and driving with license revoked.
Cook has an Alexander District Court date set for June 23rd. His next court appearance in Caldwell County is July 7th.
