Roger Scott McKiver, age 32 of Lenoir, was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Friday. He was charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with license revoked. He was also served a warrant from Brunswick County, N.C. for failure to appear related to child support. A court appearance is schedule for today in Taylorsville.
