Lenoir Man Arrested After Alexander County Traffic Stop

As the result of a traffic stop by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, a Lenoir man was taken into custody.

On Thursday, November 30th, ACSO Deputies served warrants on 43-year old Joseph Lee Sawyers who was listed as wanted in Catawba County for failing to appear on a charge of felony larceny by employee. Sawyers was transferred to the custody of the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He also has pending charges in Alexander, Catawba, and Caldwell Counties for driving with license revoked.
