Hudson: Alexander Central finished their regular season with a win and a regular season co-conference title !

AC led from tip-to-buzzer and forced 23 Spartan turnovers with a relentless press that helped produce 14 fast break points. The senior duo of Meredith Wike and Malayah Adams led the scoring with 17 and 14. Maggie Wilkes was South’s top scorer with 10.

The Lady Cougars are 21-2 and 9-1 in Northwestern Conference play. The league mark locks them with McDowell who defeated Freedom 63-36. ACHS coach Jon Presnell says a coin-flip will be conducted Saturday to determine the top-seed in next week’s conference tournament.
