Alexander Central pushed 13 runners across the plate in the third-inning and it was all over.
Kyla Hamby pitched a 3-inning no-hitter allowing a walk while her freshman sister, Ava homered twice and drove-in 4 runs. Alivia Smith was 3-3, scored twice and knocked-in a pair. Lyla Mayberry went 2-3 with 3 rbi.
The win advances AC (21-7) to Round IV. They’ll travel to west #1 seed Kings Mountain on Friday. The Mountaineers beat Charlotte Catholic 14-1.
