Taylorsville: The score in not a typo. Covenant Day of Mathews stunned Alexander Central on a chilly Friday night 6-4.
The visitors scored 5 runs in the 6th and added another in the 6th to send shock waves across the state.
AC led 4-0 after 4 innings. The visiting Lions got a grand slam from catcher Avery Houseton in the 6th.
Alivia Smith, Ava Hamby and Kayleigh Porter had a pair of hits each for the Lady Cougars.
