A standoff is over in Iredell County.
The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office alerted the public to stay away from Langtree Road in Mooresville around 9:15 a.m.
Reports indicate the situation started after a 911 call. When law enforcement arrived, shots were fired at the officers responding. An Iredell County Deputy was struck and is being treated at a medical facility.
A spokesperson says a suspect is dead.
No other information has been released.
