Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Announce Major Drug Bust

April 21, 2025 By Richard C. Gilbert

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office has announced that on Wednesday, April 16, Narcotics Investigators and Criminal Investigations Division personnel executed a search warrant at 159 Ivydale Road in Harmony. During the operation, two individuals were arrested: Lander Herbert Bustle III, 48 years old of Harmony, and Darran Deshawn Lyons, 39 years old from Mocksville.

Bustle was charged with Felony Level III Trafficking by Possession and Felony Conspiracy. Lyons was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine.

The investigation began on Monday, April 14, 2025, when Narcotics Investigators received information about a suspicious package being shipped from California to the Harmony residence. The package was believed to contain a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine. Investigators confirmed the contents of the package and began conducting surveillance on the property.

On April 16, investigators observed the package being delivered and witnessed Lander Herbert Bustle III retrieve it, open it, and examine its contents.

Following this observation, investigators executed the search warrant. Upon entering the residence, they located Bustle, Lyons, and a female.

Bustle and Lyons were transported to the Iredell County Detention Center and brought before Magistrate Thompson. Bustle received a $1 million secured bond, while Lyons received a $100,000 secured bond.
