Iredell County Drug Charges Filed After Traffic Stop

On Tuesday, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were conducting a license checkpoint at the intersection of Newton Drive and Bristol Road, when a vehicle attempted to avoid the checkpoint.

The vehicle was stopped and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located 317.97 Grams of Marijuana, 24.48 Grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, a loaded handgun, and several items of drug paraphernalia.

27-year old Broderick O’Neal Bost was arrested and charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Marijuana, Felony Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Carrying a Concealed Handgun, and Misdemeanor Driving while License Revoked.

O’Neal is being held in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $31,000.
