Iredell County Deputies Seeking Drug Trafficker…Updated

On Wednesday, May 21, Narcotics Investigators from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from Deputies with the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team, Warrant Squad Deputies, and Deputies from the Patrol Division, executed a narcotics search warrant at 219 Cumberland Road south of Statesville.

Investigators had received complaints from concerned citizens about possible drug activity occurring at this residence. Undercover narcotics investigators began conducting surveillance operations of the home and identified Cameron Max Burleyson as a person involved in illegal narcotics sales.

Undercover narcotics investigators were soon able to make purchases of Marijuana directly from Cameron Burleyson from inside the residence.

Based upon all the evidence gathered through this investigation, narcotics investigators obtained a search warrant for the home, and, upon execution of the warrant, the investigators seized over 15 pounds of Hydroponic Marijuana stored in multiple trash bags and handbags, 1281THC Cartridges used with vape pens, and various packages of assorted Marijuana edibles. The investigators also seized fifty dosage units of Adderall, a schedule II-controlled substance, and 2,500 dollars in cash.
The street value of the seized Marijuana is over $164,000.

Felony Arrest Warrants have been issued for Cameron Max Burleyson for Felony Trafficking of Marijuana by Possession, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Felony Maintaining a Vehicle or Residence for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance, Felony Trafficking Opiates by Possession, Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana.
