Grover Cleveland Meetze III
When they arrived, they spoke with Home Health Workers, who told the Deputies that they discovered the victim, who is 80-years old, had injuries possibly sustained while being forcibly restrained.
It was determined that Grover Cleveland Meetze III, age 78 of Davidson had tied the victim to a bed with duct tape on several different occasions. The investigation revealed that the victim was Meetze’s wife.
Meetze was arrested and charged with felony neglect of a disabled or elderly person with injury, misdemeanor false imprisonment, and misdemeanor domestic violence.
The suspect is being held without bond in the Iredell County Detention Center.
