An inmate at the Rutherford County Correctional Center is reported as missing.
Jeremy Keith Fincannon, 22, is a 6-foot tall white male who weighs 171 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He is originally from Rutherford County, according to a release from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Fincannon was serving a five and a half year sentence as a habitual felon. He was reported missing this morning. Fincannon was placed in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Corrections on January 25th, 2017. Previous convictions include felony assault by strangulation, assault on an officer or state employee, resisting officer, communicating threats, assault on a female, simple assault and second-degree trespassing.
