Fire destroyed a mobile home on Saturday in Alexander County.
Although the dwelling had no power itself, Assistant Fire Marshall Garrett Huffman says the heavy winds blew a live power line onto the structure.
Units from Taylorsville, Hiddenite and Wittenburg responded around 6:47 pm to the vacant single-wide mobile home on Crouch Road.
There were no injuries.
